Welcome to the visual world of the two gutsy broads of Creative Focus. A love of travel and the cultures of the world and the need to capture those images for ourselves and others resulted in our forming Creative Focus. So now, travel vicariously with us on our ESCAPES to view the cities and the countryside of this and other lands. Nothing is more soothing than the sound of gently moving water and both the seas and the skies call us as we travel from sunrise to sunset across the globe. CLOSING IN on the world is fun. Sometimes what attracts the eye are the tiny images, the close up views, the still lifes. And nothing is more inviting than the windows and doors around the world. Our WANDERINGS take us throughout the world, including the United States and neighboring Canada. While Europe is a favored destination, the dream trip was to New Zealand with a brief visit to Australia. In these travels, of course, we see different FLORA/FAUNA/FOWL. Moose, bear and mountain goats found at Glacier National Park stir the adrenaline almost as much as the giant sperm whales, seals and dolphins off the coasts of New Zealand. From the water lilies in Monet's garden in Giverny to the red poppies of the San Juan Islands off the coast of Washington State, beautiful flowers, interesting animals and elusive birds pop into our view. While vibrant colors attract, BLACK & WHITE is wonderful for creating moods and capturing tonal shades. No one can deny the effectiveness of a strong black and white. The popularity of black and white photos encourages us to see the environment differently.
